HOW UC RACISM

This event was prompted when on April 2016, “anti-Mexican graffiti was seen chalked across Library Walk, campus residential areas and outside the Raza Resource Centro” (Triton News, April 9, 2016).

As a response to this, faculty, undergraduates and graduates designed an installation/performance which consisted in asking people to write and publicly post their own experiences with racism on campus creating a huge collective collage of the many difference ways in which racism is silently produced and reproduced on campuses.
